Began the ride with a whopping 5 summits on the ride route today. It began raining in the first 10km. Didn't stop raining until 115km into the 130km ride. Beautiful country. We saw the classic red train that takes passengers around the alpes several times. It has big windows that go all the way up onto the ceiling.
We climbed up through the rain clouds tot he top of the Albula Pass and there was a little cafe up on the top where we stopped to warm up and eat.
Ate lunch a little Italian village (see photo of the raviolis) and the on to Bormio for the night. Wet, cold but fun. The descent into Bormio had a bunch of tunnels and the road surface isn't as good as in Switzerland. The cost of things though are a half to a third.
